76 GL1000 with low miles. I would describe this bike as nice partly restored condition. Nice paint and full $474 service on 3/30 inc. Carb cleaning and syncing, timing belt replacement, Oil, coolant and brake fluid change, rebuild of rear master cylinder. OEM aluminum valve covers, timing belt covers and carb down tubes have been professionally polished and new gaskets all round. Bike starts, runs and shifts smoothly. I have north of $6k into this bike and just cannot justify owning a vintage carb bike with such a short riding season in Oregon.There has been obvious touch up on the frame and some of the chrome has slight pitting (these parts are readily avail on Ebay). I bought this from NY last year and had it shipped out to Portland. I have not ridden it hardly at all (too many bikes too little time syndrome)I am honest and very picky with my bikes, so will you drive this to Pebble Beach and win? no. Will you be the coolest kid on the block? yes!!!I have seen GL1000s going for North of $6k just recently, and the reserve on this is set well below that, at a price I think is fair to the condition and mileage.I have taken as many closeup and detailed pics of as much of the bike as possible.
