XKR is a Jaguar that drives as well as it looks, and sporty enough to please those looking for something more than just a pretty automotive fashion accessory. One major change on this model XKR from previous ones is all-aluminum body structure and body panels. Not only this aluminum structure provides extra body stiffness but also improves handling, ride and quality. With its lightweight and rigid aluminum monocoque chassis structure, the XKR feels solid on the road, and is appropriately quiet and refined. It also benefits the big cat's ride and handling, providing sturdy attachment points for its fully-independent suspension. Befitting its sports specification, the XKR's springs are stiffer, the Computer Active Technology Suspension (CATS) active damping system varies the shock damping to allow for both good ride comfort.- even on poor road surfaces and even with the ultra low-profile 245/40 ZR19 front, 275/35 ZR19 rear tires - and minimal body roll in fast cornering. The supercharged XKR's 420 HP comes from an Eaton Roots supercharger and intercooler. With 420 (at 6000 rpm) horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque (at 4000 rpm), and a broad, flat torque curve, immense power is available with a touch of the right foot. The engine is quiet and refined in light-throttle operation, with an appropriate roar when pushed. The six-speed ZF automatic, now with the Jaguar Sequential Shift system, is a gem. It helps deliver power smoothly and efficiently, whether automatically or under manual control via the shift paddles. It even revs the engine a bit when downshifting for smoother, quicker shifts in manual mode, and suits the car's high-tech nature perfectly. Acceleration, with a 0-60 time of less than five seconds, is never a problem, nor is stopping thanks to extra-large vented antilock discs all around. XKR is a lovely car, well-balanced, comfortable, and thoroughly enjoyable. We replaced the damaged parts of the suspension and fixed the rear bumper. There was nothing else damaged or fixed in this Jaguar. We have posted the actual pictures straight from Insurance auction website towards the end of this listing to show the condition of the car when it was sold by Insurance. As you can see there was no other damage to this car. All body parts on this XKR are factory original.Please note that this car was sold with no keys at the auction and since the speedometer could not be turned on due to the missing key during the auction, the title will reflect not actual miles. This is a very common practice at the Insurance auctions. Any time there is no key or if the battery is dead or if the speedometer could not be turned on for any reason during auction, they simply check “Not Actual Miles” box on the title which only means that the miles were not recorded during the auction.The mileage on the car is the Actual Mileage and we stand behind that 100%.
