1996 Crown Victoria LX. This is a very solid car with ugly, faded paint and a worn interior. The only major drawback is the engine is seized. There is no telling what kind of carnage took place until the engine is torn apart. The following is a complete list of all new parts or work performed on the vehicle in the fall of 2011 (engine seized approx 500 miles after this work was performed): Front brake pads, rotors, wheels bearings Tires Waterpump Front Shocks Upper/lower ball joints Inner/outer tie-rods Front Sway bar bushings Drag link Fresh front end alignment New Wiper blades Also included are: New rear shocks Rear caliper seals and brake pads New fuel pump A replacement driver's side front turn signal lens Black seat covers (front/back) and floor mats The odometer shows 230K miles; however, it does not work, so the actual mileage unknown. The heat works and I do know the A/C was working. The interior smells a bit ripe after having baked in the sun a bit as the vehicle was driven by a former smoker for many years. The dash and trim are in very good condition under all of the dirt and dust that have accumulated in the interior. All four power windows work great (I replaced the gear for the driver's window), all four doors close with a solid *thunk* sound, and the cruise control works. This is the perfect vehicle for someone who has the time to swap in a fresh 4.6L engine.
