Vehicle Detail

Very nice 1971 c20 2 wheel drive. I have owned the truck since 2000, it was a former Arkansas truck, and to this day has never seen snow. I replaced cab corners and rockers and had it painted about 2 years ago. I have only put about 1000 miles on it since I owned it, and as far as I can tell and in my own opinion, the 60,000 is actual, I bought it from an aquaintance that owned it since 1980, and drove it little. He bought it from a rancher in Arkansas that had owned it since new. It has a 350 chevy and a rebuilt 700r4 tranny that was rebuilt and has approximatly 1000 miles on it. It has had everything replaced that it has needed. It has nice interior with new carpet, chrome sills, a very nice seat, new ducting , new weatherstripping, new windshield , perfect dash pad, all new glass seals, brakes have been gone through, it has tilt but it is not original, power brakes, power steering, new tires and wheels, new rear bumper. This truck has rare factory leaf springs. The tires have about 500 miles on them and still have all of the "tits" on the tires, basically brand new. The body is fabulous, the floors are perfect and solid as a rock, nice doors, (unfortunately one of the previous owners cut the lower doors for speakers, hate when they do that!). The bottoms of doors and door corners are great with no rust. It has NEVER had rust above windshield, floor supports are almost perfect -as you will see in the pictures I cut a little rot out of them and never got around to patching new metal in. Inside of box is perfect, absolutely no rust- but someone did drill a couple small holes in it. The cab corners and rockers were not that bad when I bought it, but I replaced them anyhow. The inner fenders under the hood are great, as well as radiator support and battery tray. I have to say that the body is better than 95% of all of them out there. When it was new someone had undercoated the heck out of it, and most of the frame and underneath the floor still has it. This is a very nice looking and riding truck, the paint has maybe 2 small chips. I do still have some paint left that will go with it. The paint looks very nice but I would call it a nice 20 footer only because it does have a little "orange peal to it" Its been on there long enough that it could be wet sanded out. I want to stress that this is a SUPER SOLID truck and by no means a bondo machine! -------------------I am selling this WITHOUT THE ENGINE AND EXHAUST. I was going to drop a replacement in, but I decided to let the new owner put whatever he or she would want in it, that way I can keep the price down. I will deliver it within 200 miles for free. My reserve is low and I am including my cell phone number if anyone has any questions on it. THANKS 563-203-0146 On Apr-30-13 at 13:27:26 PDT, seller added the following information: I just wanted to add a quick note. To be specific, when I pull the engine I will be keeping the radiator, the engine and its components. Also, previously I stated that the inner fenders under the hood were completely rust free-- upon further examination, there is a very small amount of rust towards the bottom--hardly noticeable, they are by NO MEANS junk. They are very useable, the radiator support is extremely nice. I am very honest and wanted it to be known. Thanks Some years ago I also had a custom driveshaft made and balanced in place of the 2 piece that it originally came with. On May-02-13 at 14:11:06 PDT, seller added the following information: I have been emailed many times about the engine. Unfortunately there is a lot of Ebayer's out there that look at pictures and bid without reading the description. As noted in bold once again, THE ENGINE DOES NOT GO WITH THE TRUCK. I am restoring a 71 Cheyenne and I am putting the engine and exhaust in that truck. I have over $3000 in the engine and I am keeping it. The reserve is much lower because it is not included. I have to believe that most of the people shopping on here for vehicles are smart and honest, but you know there are always the other kinds of people. To all of the decent buyers, my number is listed to any that have questions. Thanks
