Up for auction is a 1978 Jeep CJ5 in fair condition. It has rust on the body but could be used as a rock crawler or restored. We have new JC Whitney fenders that are still in the box that were $450. It has all new tires with less than a 1000 miles. Comes with a new top that has no damage to it and looks very nice. The dash pad has been replaced and looks good. We bought with intentions to restore but have just realized that we do not have the time to finish. It could use a new tub but engine, transmission and 4 wheel drive work really well. We used this for a few months as a daily driver when are other car was down. We put a new alternator on from advanced auto parts with a life time warranty but it is not recharging the battery and is probably a wiring problem when we installed but haven't had time to track it down. Can drive it and hear it run. Also for sale locally and reserve the right to cancel auction due to early sale.
