This is a 1965 Mustang GT Clone which belongs to my nephew, Paul. He wants me to sell his favorite prized possession because he and his beautiful wife want to start a family (and I want to have Grand Nephew/Niece!) The 1965 Mustang is located in Maricopa, Az., which is around 25 miles or so Southwest of the Phoenix area. Curved Shelby style Monte Carlo bar and export brace. Repainted engine compartment. Rebuilt suspension and rear end many years ago. New high performance (expensive) Aluminum Radiator with new upgraded fan and overflow tank, new Radiator mounts, GT headlight bar with separate internal switch , New attractive aftermarket oil pressure and water temperature gauges, New battery, very recent rebuilt transmission, rebuilt drum brakes all around, Beautiful new Red Paint with GT stripes. Re-chromed front and rear bumpers, 90% tread left on tires, many small new parts installed which are too vast to mention. All the professional work receipts I have will go to the winning bidder. Excellent body panel straightness and alignment, as you can see in the pictures, and absolutely rust free. I encourage all interested bidders or agents to see or inspect the Mustang in person and see the excellent work already done. The Arizona title has less than 50k original miles. Had New Mexico previous owner title. Unfinished work still needed: The speedometer is not hooked up right or something is wrong with it, may need a rebuilt speedometer cluster or fuse, I'm not sure. Small leak on the front radiator coolant line (from/to transmission). Light lifter stick noise on the left side of the engine. One small nick in the paint on the rear fender. (shown in the picture) The mufflers (which are included with the sale) were removed because I wanted to install new "cherry bombs", which I had not yet purchased. At the moment, the existing exhaust is running from the heads (exhaust manifolds) to straight pipes, just past the front seats. Interior- 1 driver's rear window crank knob.There is no original data tag on the driver's door. Good reproduction door data tags are available at many popular Mustang vendors. Conclusion: This is a good, all around daily driver, if the Mustang has the unfinished work (which has been stated), completed. Wish I had the time to 100% finish all the work needed, but my family comes first.
