Original owner of this vintage bike that revolutionized motocross. If you follow CR250M’s you know what “almost original” ones go for. This one is TOTALLY original except for the tires and air cleaner element. Original condition and is in great shape. It has been kept in the garage all its life, but was not ridden for almost 35 years. It starts on the first kick and runs great. I installed new rings (purchased in 1974) and tuned it up last year. It runs like it is 1973 again. I raced the bike in an amateur league for two years and then put it into retirement. It was always well maintained and taken care of. The bike has original matching engine/frame numbers – Frame: #CR250M-1013406 Engine: #CR250ME1012504. Everything is original including silencer, hand grips, levers, brake pads, shocks, chain, seat, rims,(you get the idea; it’s complete and ALL original). The gas tank is original and has one dent on the right side. It is noticeable, but smooth; doesn't leak . The original paint and Honda decals are in good shape. As you can tell from the pictures, there are a few scratches on the bike, but it’s in EXCEPTIONAL condition over all. The case where the shifter is was cracked but was professionally repaired (heliarced) and is like new. It is not noticeable but I was to disclose. The silencer that is currently on it is a FM TurbineCore2 spark arrestor, but I have the original silencer that can be bolted back on. It looks, runs, and rides fantastic. The motorcycle will be sold as-is, with no warranties implied. This bike was originally purchased from Anderson Cycles in Michigan, so there is no title or registration with the bike.
