100% ORIGINAL UNRESTORED CT70H MINI TRAIL - 4 SPEED W/CLUTCH - PRIVATE COLLECTION I am moving south soon and will not have a place to house my collection of vintage bikes any longer. Therefore the time has come to part with my last 4 CT70H Mini Trails which I have been collecting for many years now. When it comes to CT70's there is a certain pecking order among the breed. The first year bikes are the most desireable. The three speed automatics were mass produced while the 4 speed models were far more rare. Then we have the color issue. Emerald green is the most desireable color, especially among collectors, and then comes Topaz Orange. I actually prefer the orange color, it is very distinctive, and it is the color of the bike I had when I was a kid! The frame number is 132412 and the engine number is 122465. While Honda produced a lot of Mini Trails, it is becoming more and more difficult to find orginal low mileage models in unrestored condition. This bike is unrestored other than a new side cover has been installed and the seat was recovered. Otherwise it is an unrestored original with only 1347 original miles. As the pictures show, this bike has some tarnish and a few nicks and scratches, but it is complete and almost completely original. I have always prefered top condition original bikes for my collection. This is a great bike for a collector who appreciates the character of low mileage representation of the most sought after year and model, or would be an easy show quality restoration for someone wanting a complete bike to start with. I have enjoyed having this bike in my collection for all these years and now it's time for someone else to have a chance to enjoy this little bike. I have no doubt that this bike will reach it's fair reserve and sell quickly. I only hope that the new owner will cherish it as much as I did and display it in a collection where others can enjoy it's beauty and charisma as well. Please note that this bike is over 40 years old and as such will show the patina expected with this age. This bike has been in my personal collection of close to 100 vintage bikes for over 20 years displayed in a heated showroom. The bike was tested and ran fine when it was first put into the collection, however, it has not been started since then. Obviously the battery will need to be replaced and a tune up will be in order. This bike is sold as is with no warranty. Shipping is available as long as you arrange it entirely. There are many shippers available that will transport this bike anywhere in the country. I will not crate it or pallet it, however, I will be happy to meet the shipper at my loading dock and help load it. This bike is also for sale locally so I reserve the right to cancel this auction at any time. Finally, please do not ask what the reserve price is as that would defeat the purpose of having a reserve price in the first place. I urge you to take a close look at the pictures before bidding. I make my best effort to take well lit high quality photos that accurately depict my listings. In fact, my photos are hi-res and tend to show any flaws quite clearly.
