2001 Dodge Ram 3500 one ton dually sport 4x4 5.9 Cummins high output 24 valve diesel (HO) with a six speed standard manual transmission. Non smoker, no pets, mature adult owned low mileage very clean second generation Cummins truck. Only 81K, actual. Clean car-fax, title in hand. Pictures were taken 3/31/13, pics cannot represent how nice this truck is. Fresh oil change, new fuel/air filter, front and rear diff, transfer case have all been serviced. Freshly detailed and just had the track bar replaced, a common problem with the older Dodges. Everything is in working order, A/C blows cold. Cruise, 4 high/low, power windows/locks, fog lamps, head lights/cab lights, power seat all operate perfectly. Brakes are in good shape, no uneven rotor wear, front end is tight. Tires are 80-90% tread, all 6 are evenly worn. Windshield is great, not cracked/ scratched or pited. Stereo sounds great, no blown speakers. Not sure if the tape deck works as we don't own cassettes. Dashboard is in great shape, in these years they commonly broke if not garaged. Leather is in fantastic condition, no tears, cracking or fading. The truck is not leaking, you can confidently park this in the garage without any fear of oil on the floor. It might have some seeps but nothing we could see. Clutch is perfect, engages smoothly like it should. It is straight piped and it sounds great, not obnoxious. All gauges are reading accurately, does have boost and pyro pillar gauges. We've pulled 10,000 pounds, tows like nothing is there. As seen in the pictures, it does have a goose-neck ball in the bed, not a turnover ball (can be easily removed). Has electric brake control, works great. We have multiple keys, keyless entry fob and original manuals. This is a rust-free truck since Colorado doesn't use salt on our roads in the winter. CO uses mag-chloride and sand. We requested that the detailer didn't paint any of the underside of the truck so potential bidders could see the actual condition of the frame and drive-train. If there were any real flaws to be pointed out, it would be a few rock chips from the sand they use in CO winters. They could be touched up but they are very minor, have to be less than 5 feet to spot them. There are a couple of spots were touch up paint was used, you have to be less than 2 feet away to spot them. The rear bumper must have been replaced at one time because it should be color keyed to match. The rear bumper is chrome, looks great, no damage but not the original. Last but not least, on the inside of the bed there are a couple of minor dents under the spray in liner, most people would never notice them but this is coming from a critical eye. No surprises, no disapointments. A person could confidently drive this truck cross country the minute they arrive and fuel up.
