Used 1997 Acura 2.2 CL. Color is Inza Red Pearl, code R-96P-5 a pearlescent multistage finish. This color was only available in 1997 and 1998 for this car. This Car is for repair or for parts. Transmission is slipping when shifting into 2nd and 3rd gear, Engine leaks oil badly (about 3 quarts per 1000 miles or per month), ABS module is bad and exhaust needs repair. There is interior and exterior trim that needs to be replaced or fastened. Missing car lifting jack, lug wrench, Sunroof/Moonroof emergency close wrench tool and wheel tools kit. Missing rear ashtray. Passengers Rear quarter panel is rusted through. Hood and front bumper clear coat is pealing. Numerous scratches, dings and dents consistent with that of a 17 year old car. Only one key and remote is included. Recommend you purchase a new set as these are wore heavily. Recommend having the car towed to its destination for piece of mind. Short distances it should be fine, but you will have to accelerate very slowly. Recommend viewing, inspecting and short test driving the car in person prior to making a bid. New break pads, resurfacing of rotors, and new calipers on all four corners. Also major Maintenance was done at this time consisting of: Four Wheel Alignment, Power Steering Flush, Break fluid Flush, Wiper inserts, Air Filter, Engine Oil and Filter, Tire Balance and Rotation, Replaced Transmission Fluid, Replaced engine coolant, and performed multi-point inspection. Replaced both Drivers and Passenger CV axle assemblies. A/C Drier and hoses installed 06/02/2011 and Approximately 226,000 miles. A/C was serviced at 06/23/2011 and 226,339 miles. New Condenser and Expansion Valve. Replaced plastic inner fender wheel well on passenger side on 03/08/2011. Replaced trunk lid, inner rear bumper support and repainted rear bumper and rear mud guards on 09/12/2011 and 228,855 miles by Collex Collision. This work is covered by a lifetime warranty. All work was due to a coworker backing into the car while it was parked. Some of the new parts required to reassemble drivers door are included in this auction. All of the old parts are included as well. A Used Replacement passengers inner door panel is included in this auction. Additional work is required due to the leather insert differences. Leather inserts will have to be swapped between the existing and the replacement due to stitching differences. Replacement panel will have to be drilled to receive the existing insert. New Old Stock Acura Accessory Black Leather Shifter Handle installed 10/13/2012. Modified Used 2006 Honda Pilot in dash 6 disc changer and New Ipod control Honda Music Link 2.0 installed 03/20/2012. Ipod connector is routed to the center console. Receiver is Satellite Radio ready, Just purchase and install a satellite kit for the Honda Pilot or Honda Accord from the same year. Installed a used Homelink module on 07/04/2012. Homelink system is a built in garage door opener, when programed it replaces your garage door opener remote. Remote control buttons are located over head between sun-visors. Modified 1998-99 center console shift selector and chrome trim for use in this center console. Alpine Type R speakers SPR-17C in front installed 2009 and SPR-69LP in rear installed 2005. Yellow top D35 optima AGM gel battery installed on January 2010.
