For sale is a 1981 C3 corvette. I have owned this car for approx 8 years but I titled it in 2006 . I have driven it 1086 miles . I have always kept it in a garage. This car has all emission controls intact and passes emission testing and is currently registered . It is Black Pearl with bright red interior. A very nice color combination . Looks real good in bright sunlight .The paint is very good condition for 32 years old car . The interior is real nice too. no tears . Steering wheel great cond. the carpet good shape and color, the floor mats could be replaced . The door panels and dash are great shape. The aluminum wheels have not been curbed or hit at all. I have put all new firestone indy 500 firehawk tires on it a month ago . 350 V-8 engine with turbo 350 automatic transmission . 4bbl carb. All emission components still intact - air pump , catalitic converter , etc. passes emission testing in albuquerque 2012. It has all power . Power windows , power antennea , power door locks , power steering , power 4 wheel disc brakes , R12 air conditioning that works great , am/fm casette player , cruise control , rear window defroster . telescopic tilt wheel . power seat . Mirror glass T-tops I did put an edelbrock intake manifold on the engine . I replaced the fuel pump last month at the same time I put the new tires on it. I just had it simonized at the car wash before I took the pictures . It does shine. All the glass is in excellent shape. power windows roll up and down perfect. The headlights open and close at a moments notice when you hit the switch . they really pop up and down extremely quick and very positive , they do not lag. windshield wipers work great . seat belts work great. It has a newer battery , about 6 months old now. The car runs great . transmission shifts perfect . Brakes work great . steers and runs excellent . Drives like a corvette should . Here is what I know that is less than perfect on the car. Check the pictures closely to see what I am describing . 1. The previous owner told me at some point he forgot to secure the t-tops and the vehicle was driven and he lost them both . The left driver side one was broken the right passenger one was scratched on the asphalt. left one got replaced with a used one and the right scratched one is still the original on the vehicle . the scratches are not really easy to see in the pictures , but look closely to see. They are not really that bad either in person. but they are there none the less. 2. the rear spoiler on the top has some ripples on the top side . not real appearant . was not pointed out to me when I purchased the vehicle and took me some time before I really noticed it. and it still does not bother me at all. I just want you to be aware of this too. again study the pictures. 3. the cruise control works but doesn't hold speed too well. varies up and down. speed transducer will need some work . but it does work. well other than that this vehicle is a great 32 year old vehicle . My title says actual miles on it at 38,500 miles . I bought this vehicle with confidence that it is original miles. It does drive like a new 1981 car .
