1979 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am A little bit of history: This car was specially ordered from the Pontiac showroom floor in 1978 and purchased by the original owner from Skyland Pontiac Dealership in Inglewood, CA for $9,529.16. The purchase was financed through Pan Air Pacific Credit Union. This gentleman who originally bought the car worked for the airline and the car remained mostly parked, which explains why 34 years later it only has 50,384 documented miles. *I have the paperwork from the original sale. I purchased the vehicle after the original owner passed away, as part of an estate sale. I set goal to bring the vehicle back to life. The whole interior has been re-done with the blue hobnail fabrics that were used in the original production. The door panels, headliner, and carpet are all brand new. The headliner and visors are perforated vinyl. The original armrests on the interior of both doors were taken off and replaced with simpler door handles made of lighter and stronger material. However, I do have them and will be included with the car should you wish to put them back on. * I did not want to place the decals on the exterior as I think it looks beautiful without them and will leave it to the buyer to decide if the wants to add them Rare Blue Color, Light Blue Trim Interior. ***Excellent paint job with the rare original Metallic Nocturne Blue 29 Code color, using only the best materials from PPG (all receipts are available). Body was sanded to the bare metal and extensive prep work was done before painting the vehicle. Car has no rust. Paint job was done in February 2013. All new weather stripping! Fully Loaded (Air Conditioning, Power Windows, Locks, & Deck Lid, Sport Mirrors, Original Radio, Power Breaks, Powerful V8 403 4BBL Engine, Tilt Steering Wheel) The car has a powerful V8 403 engine, automatic transmission that shifts very smoothly. Car runs great; it is currently registered in the state of California (clean title). No rust. No Mechanical or Electrical problems. Smells brand new!
