Vehicle Detail

Honda Dream. This was a one-owner bike that I purchased in January. It has all the original parts and paint. (no body work or bondo) The bike had set in a dry environment and was not froze up or suffered any storage damage. The Mufflers are original and near perfect. no rust through or issues. I did upgrade the Ignition by installing the Probe Electronic Ignition, Dyna Dual Coils which is a great system that never needs further adjusting. The timing is correct and will never need adjusting. New Motobatt battery which is gel cell so no worries of acid leaks. Petcock was totally rebuilt with new seals,,, no leaks and works well New Air Filter and Hose New Drive Chain. New Front Cable and Speedometer cable. The bike starts instantly and drives as it should .. No shifting problems or any concerns. This is a really nice original dream. It has the original front tire and not sure about the back one.. It could use some rear spoke and rim work but nothing serious and that can always be spruced up .. nothing at all affects handling. Original Tool Bag and Tools, and owners manual It has its original keys that work all locks. It is a cutie ~ hard to find them in this original condition. It sure beats the ones left outside. I do have a video..:: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SBUWzstukvo&feature=youtu.be I have pictures if you contact me ~ I can send them.. (tool bag and tools photo too)On Apr-08-13 at 07:32:53 PDT, seller added the following information: Charging System~ Works better than original because the old style rectifier was replace with the modern version using internal Diodes. Much more reliable and accurate than the originals. I did keep the old Coil and rectifier so they will stay with the bike. Very minor wiring change requirements that was professionally accomplished. It all fits neatly inside the cover as did the original. Even the Dyna Coil is in the original location so everything is neat and looks like it was installed at the factory. It is just updates to improve the Ignition System and Charging system. The Dyna Coil is 5 Ohm so it matches the Probe Electronic Ignition. (All new Jan 13 and what was recommended by Probe Engineering) The problem with running the old original coil is that the Ignition wire is not replaceable as it is molded into the coil. Hard, Cracked Ignition wires do not make for a good running system. Toudh the start button and this bike and it has already started. On Apr-08-13 at 08:31:37 PDT, seller added the following information: The Ignition system is the FS-02E and information on it can be seen here: http://bore-tech.com/product/ignition-fs-02e-uses-two-single-lead-coils The Dyna Dual Coil is DC8-1 with Dyna 7mm Copper core ignition wire. I retained the old point system and the Condenser is still installed in its location if you ever wanted to convert it back to the point system. Why do it though when this Electronic system never needs retimed or points out of adjustment. Timing will stay dead on with the FS-02E.On Apr-09-13 at 15:25:10 PDT, seller added the following information: Some more Photos... Most were taken during cleanup. You can see how clean the frame is when the seat and tank were removed. The bike was not dismantled - just the tank, seat, and headlight removed for cleaning. http://www.vuvox.com/collage_express/edit/0686937ff6 On Apr-09-13 at 20:32:41 PDT, seller added the following information: VuVox above didn't work ~ this one should. http://www.vuvox.com/collage/detail/0686937ff6
