1961 Plymouth Fury convertible. This car was purchased in 1972 by my parents, they used it for about a year. At that time in around 1973 the car was taken off the road and put into storage. The recent passing of my parents have left me no choice but to sell this car. This car has not run since 73. Although it was inside in storage it will need a complete restoration. The car is complete. It has a V-8 with a 3 speed standard shift on the column. The interior is complete but will need new covers and carpet. Seats are blue/white with a blue carpet. The top is black and in good shape probably original. The body is solid, no rot but does have some surface rust and needs to be painted.The engine does not run and is seized. It has a 2bbl carb. Chrome is all there some could be cleaned and some needs to be rechromed. There was only about 6,000 convertibles made in 61, can't be many left. This is a unique car that was only made for one year.Happy Bidding.
