Vehicle Detail
I have up for bids a one of a kind Honda 1973 CB350F. This bike has a 400F 6speed supersport motor swap. I personally like the look of the 350f over the 400f and now you can own the best of both worlds. This bike has 13k original miles with clear title, I bought it with 9k miles a couple years ago. The difference between the 350 and 400 motors are night and day, it is a blast to ride. It fires right up and everything works, kick starter, the turn signals, brake light, warning lights, tach, speedo, head light goes on and off and the brights work. The 6speed transmission shifts smooth and through all the gears. The engine makes good power and is sure to put a smile on your face. The mufflers are actually Jardine's for a 550F (they sound awesome), and the shocks are from a 500F (stiffer and a little taller, really compliments the extra power). The chrome is in good shape and the tank has the original paint. Tires have a good amount of tread left. This bike also has a brand new battery. It also comes with a new O-ring chain in the box, and an extra set of brand new "assault" 350f shocks, and a copy of the service manual. As with any 40 year old bike there are a couple of issues. The previous owner wired the kill switch to be the key, The kill switch works, it's just when you turn it on, the bikes power comes on, you don't need a key, it does however come with the original keys. The chain needs changed (comes with a brand new one). The rear brake pedal doesn't work very well. The 400f engine cases are wider and therefore don't leave much clearance for the brake, rearsets would cure this, or a modified brake pedal. The front brake works great. The gas cap needs a new latch. It needs a new tachometer drive seal, the current one leaks some. Other than that it is a very solid fun to ride bike. I live in the Dayton, Ohio area and if you wish to come see the bike please let me know. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask. Buyer must arrange shipping. If you need me to hold the bike for a couple weeks while you arrange shipping, or pick up, please lemme know. $500 paypal deposit is due within 72 hours of auction close. Thanks for looking and happy bidding. Video I made today riding the bike on youtube http://youtu.be/OKZrjY7zZwM
