Some people want the suede leather steering wheel and shifter and some people hate it, but i happen to have a spare suede leather wheel and shifter if you are looking for that option and will swap at no charge. Some people might not like the black wheels, and i also have a set of polished wheels, but the tires that are on those rims are almost brand new. and thus if you want me to swap out the black rims for the polished, i would need to charge you $500 extra. This one is a 2011 Sedan with 16,883 miles on it. This car came to us as a dealer trade and the car itself came from Texas, That Texas dealer bought it at an insurance auction about a year ago in New York. The Texas dealer did have this vehicle repaired and had been driving this vehicle for the last year putting about 5,000 miles on it since the repairs were made. We haven't done anything this cts-v other then to transfer the title so we have a Minnesota salvage title that is free and clear of any liens. I don't know anything about the prior damage or any of the repairs. But the Texas dealer gave me a reciept from an collision center in texas that did the repairs. the total cost of the repairs was $3,812.38. I will provide the high bidder with the name of the dealer we bought it from and all the paperwork that the Texas dealer gave us. from the paperwork that i have, it appears that there was damage to the right rear and then a new hood and front bumper cover installed and a new radiator. The Texas dealer told me that both front fenders were not damaged and thus not replaced, not damage to the doors either. Here is what i know about this car. The wheels are clearly black, but the texas dealer told me that the black will very easily peel off if you don't like the black look and then there is polished wheels under the black. I can tell you that they aren't painted, and im not sure what kinda coating will easily peel off, but i took my finger nail to the back side of the rim and it does appear that the black will come off with little to no effort if you want it to. I can also tell you that all air bags have been replaced and reprogrammed (we verified this), however when the curtain air bags did deploy the headliner did get a tear on the driver side behind the front driver seat. everything appears to work just fine. I did take this car in for an alignment just to make sure everything is correct and i have attached a copy of the alignment in the pictures. otherwise the tires seem to be about half life left. and the trunk has a ding in it as well (i pointed it out in the video). and one of the tail lights has a minor crack in it. I have driven this car about 300 miles and everything seems to be fine. i haven't had any issues with this car at all, nor do i expect there to be any problems it with anytime soon. We let these cars sell them self. If for any reason you feel its to much of a risk to bid on this car with out seeing it in person first, then you are more then welcome to contact any shop near me (at your cost) and i will be more then happy to take this car to any shop of your choice for a 3rd party inspection. I do what i can to provide you with all the information i have so it will help you make the best decision you can make. I do my best to be as honest and upfront as i can be. There is nothing wrong with buying a salvage title car, however you will always get the car for less money then a clean title car. Usually you can buy that car for about 70-75% of clean title value, however that number can go up or down depending on supply and demand. Clearly a car like this might be a bit more on the high side, and yet a dodge neon with a salvage title might be a bit more on the low side. Either way, the biggest thing you should know about any salvage title car is the history and how bad the accident was. QUESTIONS, its best to e-mail your questions to me via ebay messages. Current Title, The current title is a Minnesota salvage title. Please check with your state before bidding. Once you get this car inspected, it should come back as a prior salvage title/rebuilt in your home state. I can get it inspected here in Minnesota, but that might not do you any good if you live out of state. If I do get it inspected here, and send the title into Minnesota, then its going to take about 3 months for the state of Minnesota to send me the prior salvage title back. I know for a fact that this car will pass a Minnesota state inspection with flying colors or your money back. Other state's might require something different, so please check before you bid. All sales are final. We will provide you with a bill of sale, title, repair receipts, ect. You shouldn't need anything more then what I listed above, but if there is, let us know and we will do our best to get you anything you need to get this vehicle inspected in your home state. Att: Minnesota buyers, You will be charged sales tax at a rate of 6.5%, plus plates, tabs, and title transfer fees. You will also need to get this vehicle inspected with in the next year. You will be provided with a 21 day permit to drive this vehicle right away, and then we will get the plates for you and they will be mailed to you or you can pick this up if you are local. You have one year to get this vehicle inspected before Minnesota will issue you new license tabs. The inspection process is easy and only takes about 20mins. We will provide you with the dates and times of your nearest inspection center. After it has been inspected, you will get a new title back from the State of Minnesota that will give it a Prior Salvage Title Status. According to the State, that means that it is a clear title. According to everyone else, its still a salvage title. Att: Non-Minnesota buyers, You will NOT be charged any added fees. You will owe the exact amount of your final bid and thats all. You will also need to check with your local DMV to check the process of transferring a salvage title in your home state before you bid. You will be given a 21day permit to drive this vehicle home, but after that, you are on your own. You should be able to take the title to your dmv and get it transferred and get plates right away, but some states might have a different process that you need to go though, so please check that out before you bid. After the inspection is done in your home state, you should be issued a prior salvage/rebuilt title. Shipping, Shipping is at Buyers expense. Average shipping costs are about $150 in Minnesota, $300 in upper midwest, $500 to outer midwest (Texas,Ohio,Montana,Colorado), and coastal areas are about $700-$900. Depending on where you are, it could take anywhere from 2 to 8 business days before you receive this vehicle. Deposit, After this auction ends, we will need a $500 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit with in 48hrs of the end of this auction. So its up to you to contact your local dealership to see if the factory warranty is still active. If you do want to check on the warranty status, all you need to do is call your local GM dealer and give them the vin number to this car and ask them if the warranty is still good. ALL auto manufacturers still do stand by recalls. So if this car is in need of a recall, take it back to the dealership and they will fix the recalled item. On the other hand, if you have any prior accident repair issues with this car with in the first 90 days let us know and we will usually take care of the problem at no charge as long as you bring the car back to us. In a minority of states, regulations require a salvage title for stolen vehicles but, in others, it is issued only for losses due to damage. Are All Salvage Titles Bad? No, They aren't. Thats just like saying all Clean Title cars are good. There are alot of salvage titles cars out there that have little to no damage due to theft recovery, or since insurance companies won't use aftermarket parts and need to use brand new factory parts. If those factory parts are on back order, they aren't going to wait weeks or months until they can get those parts again. So something as simple as damage to a 01-06 GMC Yukon Denali front impact bumper that costs $300 new, that totaled out about 100 trucks last year because of the GM bankruptcy that shut down the manufacturing of those bumpers. Thus no one could get that part so insurance companies just totaled them all out rather then to wait the 6 months to get a new bumper. Are All Clean Titles Cars Accident Free? No, Most of you have probly been in an accident at one point or another. If your accident was a deer hit, most of the time that is repairable. Your local body shop made the repairs and you were good to go. However no one will ever know and it wasn't marked on your title. It still may have been a great car after that, but just like salvage title cars, they can be great and hassle free for years after the repairs have been made. In another example, if you had a newer car, and you didn't have full coverage insurance and you drove your car into a local lake, ditch, hit a tree, another car, ect. You would have some damage that you might not have taken to a body shop and had the repairs done correctly. Thus passing on future possible issues to a new owner. The truth is, that you don't know what or where a car has been unless you bought it brand new. And as you know, buying brand new will cost you a lot more then buying used. So even if the worst case happens and you buy a salvage title car that you know has been in an accident, you know what you are buying and you are paying less for that. So even if something happens to the motor, transmission, battery, tires, ect. You saved thousands by buying a salvage title over buying a used car with a clear title and that savings will likely cover the cost of the repairs.
