Up for sale is a 1996 toyota tacoma 4x4 6 cyl 5 speed extended cab. The truck was my daily driver and has 180,000 highway miles. Truck actually drives great at 75-80 mph on the highway and gets around 20 mpg. It was the nicest 1996 tacoma you would have ever seen. I rolled the truck and was planning on getting a body but times got a little tuff so i have to part with it. It has a detroit locker and chromoly axles in rear and also has had the dana 44 straight axle swap done to it also boxing and stretching the front end out a bit. Has the nice baja like stance to it. It has custom.offroad bmpers front and back. There is not any rust on this truck nor has there been. It is solid as a rock. The motor runs extremely good and i just put a 290 dollar heavy duty clutch and pressure plate on it turned the flywheel and installed new pilot and throughout bearing. The truck still runs and drives perfect.jus needs a body. It also has warn lockouts im trying to remember everything but im.sure ill miss some things. Bottom line is if u wanna spend the time getting a body on it or just weld a cage around it and put seats in it it is ready to go. Great solid truck everything works. Have clean title in hand. Timing belt was replaced at 142,000 miles. the only mechanical flaws are the radiator was cracked on roll over and the exhaust is off it only has the manifolds, it will need a exhaust system built.
