Vehicle Detail
1963 Fairlane Wagon LOW FAIR RESERVE - unlike similar cars Ive seen on ebay. We want to move our cars to new homes. Let me start off explaining why its a savlage / restored title.Back in the 80s the car was in a fender bender and wasnt worth fixing as you can expect. So they totalled it, the owner bolted on a good used fender and ft bumper (same color) and kept on driving it until it was taken off the rd in mid 90s. Any FORD person Im sure can see the possibilites of a wagon like this. First thing that comes to most peoples mind:Thunderbolt Wagon !! If you have a Tbolt, it would be a cool tow vehicle. If you just want to build a Clone Tbolt but wagon version, this car would be a great candidate !! This car is a blank slate, you can build it anyway want and the possibilities are endless on a car like this. INTERIOR:sun damage as you may expect for an Az vehicle. A few of the lower pans did get some rust from the rubber floormats and the previous owner started replacing the 2 ft pans. RR flat glass & taillgate glass missing. Interior needs a total restoration, but mostly complete to help in the resto process. Lots of misc loose pieces will be put in the back area of the car when shipped. Radiator, misc trim, hardware etc... Exterior: White paint looks to be original, couldnt see any signs of previous repairs or major damage. All the trim seems to be still on the car thats specific to the 64 models.Sheetmetal is all orginal Ford parts.Stainless trim inside and out very nice for its age. Bumpers present but chrome not so good there. I see no rust on the rockers, 1/4s or fenders other then surface. DRIVETRAIN:Original 289 ci motor and auto transmission gone. Leaves your options open to just about whatever you could think of. Restore it like stock, or resto mod itor something in between. 5 lug helps with rim choice.Poor cars been sitting since the late 90s with the motor removed. We didnt get the original motor with the carbut we may be able to get it from the last owner for a price. I know where it is, but hes not sure if he wants to sell it. Its needs a rebuild. He has the trans too. This car has never seen a salt road. DSO is 71 which was LA CA and the cars always been in CA or AZ It wouldnt take a lot to restore it and in the end its only going to go up in value. What more could you want.Check out over 100 pics below, be patient and let them all load. LOW FAIR RESERVE dont miss out !! I WONT END THE AUCTION EARLY / LOW FAR RESERVE Az cars are well known for being the easiest and best cars to buy to restore. Great trim and hardly any rust even after all these cars due to the arid hot climate, our older cars are more like time capsules most of the country isnt use use to seeing for sale. If it doesnt meet reserve, email me anyways if still interested. Either way it would be a great car to restore I think back to stock. Probably the BEST represented Wagons on Ebay. Shows you all the good as well as any bad. If you treat yourself to buying one of our cars, youll never buy a bucket again from anyone !! Our Impeccable FEEDBACK speaks for itself. Doing restoration on this type of project is less labor intensive which means overall cost is less too ! With less horrid surprises later on. Dont let other auctions with little to no pics try to fool you. With other auctions, you really dont know what to expect until you take the car apart. While we go over our cars ALL OVER with great pics to help making your decision easier. Along with ANY other questions you may have. Fully operational condition to make shipping cheaper and easier. UNLESS other arrangements have been made before auction ends. This car, you can see clearly what to expect with no surprises OUR FEEDBACK SPEAKS FOR ITSELF - WE GET THE JOB DONE FOR OUR CUSTOMERS !!!
