I'm selling my 2001 F-150 XLT supercrew with 238,000 highway miles. Truck has a COMPLETELY REBUILT FROM THE GROUND UP 5.4 LITER TRITON V-8. I will list both the positives and the negatives about this truck. New equipment includes: Rebuilt 5.4 Liter triton v-8 (including new timing components) rebuilt just 12,000 miles ago Brand new starter Brand new alternator Brand new windshield 4x4 off road package Electronic tow package Great interior 5 disc cd changer electric locks and windows New battery Transmission and 4x4 work great Highway miles Hard bed liner And now the negatives: Denting on the door skins have been there since I bought it Front passenger quarter panel was dented when I bought it Some rust at bottom of doors (not on the doors but on the body beneath them Some paint peeling on tailgate and door Passenger side front turn signal cover is broken ( turn signal still works) Love this truck but must sell due to finances. Anyone who knows anything about trucks knows how much a completely rebuilt 5.4 triton is worth plus all of the new components I've listed. I understand the cosmetic issues I've listed will effect the price but please keep in mind the mechanical benefits to all the new components.
