Up for sale is this drop-dead GORGEOUS 2005 Honda Rune NRX1800 with less than 6,000 miles on it. Honda only made a few thousand of these bikes in 2004 and 2005, with the 2005 model year having a few upgrades vs a 2004 (pull-back handlebars and chrome wheels standard, no rattling left shock absorber). The bike turns heads everywhere it goes, of course, and its timeless styling and insanely-high build quality ensure that you can enjoy it for a loooooong time. The details are immaculate--the clutch and shifting are a pleasure to use (best bike I've ever owned), braking is consistent and stable, the suspension is superb...and when it's sitting in your garage you can spend hours just ogling the thing from every angle. It really is a beautiful, world-class machine that is such a rare, highly-engineered joy to own and ride. This particular bike is in near perfect condition, with almost brand-new tires (I replaced them about 1,500 miles ago) and no leaks or mechanical problems whatsoever. It is completely stock and has been very well-maintained throughout its life. It rides wonderfully and sounds great--fires up right away and runs smoothly. The bike was also used in a recent modeling shoot; the winning bidder can also get a 13x19 poster (personally signed to you by the model) of the landscape picture in the gallery for an extra $50 if interested. The bike has a CLEAR title and includes all documentation (there's a fair amount of it), two keys and about all the attention you could want out on the street--plus, the poster :-)On Mar-27-13 at 20:43:53 PDT, seller added the following information: Here is a link to a YouTube video of a quick walkaround of the motorcycle...it was shot in 1080p with a Canon T3i camera so the quality is good. I tried a YouTube modification to reduce shakiness but I'm not a huge fan of the results so bear with me as they're undoing the change. The small chip on the rear fender is *extremely* common with Runes and can readily be fixed with a little touch-up paint if you'd like, or you can just not even worry about it because it's really not noticeable.
