1982 Subaru B R A T 1982 Subaru BRAT / Hard to find , easy to love ! NO RESERVE !!!! bid to win ! This is only the 3rd one Ive seen for sale here in Tucson in the last 10 yrs. Super RARE Side Pop Open T Tops !! Heres the perfect apocalypse escape vehicle !! Being an AZ vehicle, its minimal to no rust, but it was used for its intended purpose and did get its share of bumps and dents. I can make it run by pouring gas down the carb no problem and the fuel lines are clear, so not sure if its the pump thats bad or the carb needs work. Its not far off from being a driver (tires and fix the fuel issue) and drive it till the wheels fall off !! Mileage shows 145k on it , and is probably original. DRIVETRAIN: Original 1800 motor with 5 spd AWD trans. When the motor is running, it sounds good and does not make any weird noises nor does it smoke. Cant keep it running enough to check the transmission, but last owner said it was fine, but was ready for a new clutch. INTERIOR: Az has been hard on the plastic and vinyl, 1 seat seems to have been replaced by another Subie seat at one time. It shows wear and tear, but still functional. Rear glass was replaced with a slider style, BUT the original still comes with the car. EXTERIOR: has been repainted at least once, and not well peeling in places, so dont expect much there. Its probably worse in person haha. Body has some dents, but luckily no yrs of rust holes and no bondo on the body. All the glass is good, Ill double check the windshield. Suspension: all works and seems functional but of course showing its age. Has all 5 of the factory white spoke Subaru wheels. Tires are old. Over 100 PICS, it may take a full minute for them all to load if you have a slow connection, so be patient. Az gets maybe 12" a yr of rain. Check out All the pics and then look for more info AFTER the pics etc. There are alot, make sure you use the schroll bar on the side to see them all.
