This a 1966 Ford Mustang Coupe with the Deluxe Pony interior with a full console.This car has been in a barn stored for the last 20+ years and will require full restoration.Overall the car is straight and for the most part solid.The interior is complete right down to the original am deluxe push button radio and is the Rare deluxe Pony model with the factory woodgrain package and rare factory sport steering wheel.The car was running and driving when it was parked.I put a battery in it and everything electrical seems to work.The keys are the original ones(with ponies on them) that came with the car.The starter engages but The motor is locked from sitting.I did get it to turn about a half a turn and every time I try it with the starter it moves alittle more.I pulled the plugs and put in pb blaster in it.It will probably be turning over before the auction ends.The oil is clean and only one plug(the rear one)showed any signs of rust and it was very slight.I believe it will break free.The radiator is full of clean antifreeze.The trans fluid is very clean.Brake do not work.All the glass is good.The car is VERY straight but has some rust issues.The worst rust is in the passenger side front frame rail where it meets the bottom of the shock tower.See photo.The make patch panels for this and from what I understand is common on these cars.The front frame from the shock towers back looks great.It is solid in all the wheel wells and there is no rust around the wheel lips.There is some rust in the floors but nothing real bad or structural.See photos.The rear quarters are descent with one rust hole up midways on the drivers side where a mouse had a nest.The bottoms look good as do the wheel houses and trunk dropoffs.The doors are pretty good and open and shut great,they do have a small amount of rust on the outside lower skin toward the front fender.Both front fender have a very small amount shown in the photos.They are easily fixed.The cowl is good.The trunk floor is good with some very minor spots on a seam,also from probably the mouse.The trunk lid is Great.The rockers are solid as is the rest of the frame.Both front and rear valances are good.The car is 95% complete and even has and after market Mustang sounds horn.The steering is still very tight with no play.This will make a nice car and has the right equipment.There are a few extra parts that come with it,that are in the trunk.It rolls easily for loading and all the tires hold air.I have a clear title on this car also.The photos speak for themselfs on this one.If you have any question please ask before bidding. ********Please note my feedback and bid with confidence.I am pricing this for a quick sale with a fair low reserve.****Please check out my other items listed for sale**** Please note my feedback,I describe my vehicles as accurately as possible.
