Vehicle Detail
Vehicle Information If you’re looking for a full-size van that doesn’t look and drive like it was designed two decades ago, the Express is the way to go. This 12-passenger people-hauler runs and drives great and features "leather" interior, driver and passenger front airbags, rear AC, and AM/FM stereo. Under the hood you will find a Vortec 6.0L V8 engine that puts out 300 horsepower and 360 foot-pounds of torque. Sending power to the rear wheels is GM's heavy-duty four-speed 4L80-E transmission. The real draw of this vehicle, however, is the fact that it is a bi-fuel vehicle and will run on either CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) or regular gasoline. The EPA rates the fuel economy at 11 MPG city/15 MPG highway whether you're using CNG or regular gasoline. This vehicle sits on a 135" wheelbase and is rear wheel drive. The front tires are Firestones and the rear ones are Michelins. Close-up pictures of the treads are included. Mileage is low for the year at only 34,800 and the Carfax report is clean. On Mar-15-13 at 08:32:09 PDT, seller added the following information: Added 3-15-13: The total water volume of the CNG tanks in this vehicle is 7966 cubic inches or 130.5 liters. On Mar-15-13 at 10:26:27 PDT, seller added the following information: GGE (Gasoline Gallon Equivalent) is the amount of alternative fuel (in this case, compressed natural gas) it takes to equal the energy content of one liquid gallon of gasoline. The National Institute of Standards and Technology defines (GGE) as 5.660 pounds of natural gas. The information we have from the sticker on the fuel door of this van is the Total Water Volume of the cylinders in this van, so if we want to figure out the GGE we need to do some basic math problems! (Whee!) First we have to convert TWV (Total Water Volume) to SCF (Standard Cubic Feet). The formula is TWV ÷ 5.861, and we know that the TWV = 7966, so... 7966 ÷ 5.861 = 1359.15 Now that we have SCF we can convert that to GGE using the formula SCF ÷ 123, like so... 1359.15 ÷ 123 = 11.05 So, now we know that the GGE of this van is 11.05.
