This car has under-gone a complete restoration-modification that was completed in March of 2011. The car was completely taken down to bare metal and the motor was completely rebuilt. It is a 1966 Ford Fairlane GT, 2 door, hardtop, originally had a 390, was an s-code car, but was replaced with a 428 Super Cobra Jet, with 3 deuces, it has a new Detroit Locker rear end, 4 - 88's, a new top loader 4 speed, new clutch and throw out bearing. New gas tank, new VDO gauges, new frame connectors, new fiberglass super stock hood, and new fiberglass bumpers front and rear. Completely re-done inside and out. The paint job is custom and includes custom pin-stiping of the Fairlane logo on both sides on the rear, it has less than 500 miles driven on the car since being finished. It has only been driven locally to car shows and cruises. The car belonged to my father and was his last project car, purchased from a friend, as a project car. He became ill and the car was finished for him by many of his friends.The car was finished for him four days before he went into the hospital, he never had a chance to drive the car.
