Here is a really cool truck!!! It is a 1952 Chevrolet Advanced Design 3100 half ton. It is mainly original with a few mods. The engine has been upgraded to a 235 stovebolt with an external oil filter; the rear end has been upgraded to a 10 bolt open drive with 5 lug wheels all around; power disc brakes on the front with a modern two stage master cylinder; electric is 12 volt; wipers are electric instead of vacuum; turn signals have been installed; new front shocks. Tires are nearly new and all match with a set of rally wheels. The body is in good condition and is original, no cuts or mods. Interior is in great shape and is original as well. The bed floor is decent, but not original. Glass is good. What it needs: transmission leaks at rear seal if parked on an incline. Parking brake does not work. Rally center caps are pitted. Heater core leaks and has been bypassed. That's about it. It also comes with an original Fulton sunvisor. I used to carry this truck in an enclosed trailer behind my motorhome, but my wife wanted a newer car instead. It has been a great vehicle and always gets looks and "thumbs up" wherever we go. Delivery may be an option if our travels match your needs, please inquire if you may need transport. I will also assist in a commercial transporter picking up the truck. I have no idea why. I put in another one and new wires, but I have no way of turning the engine over by hand to time it. If this is a problem and you have bid on the truck, you are free to cancel the bid with my blessing. I have also had some questions about the title. Alabama titles vehicles 1975 and newer only. Fo all others, a copy of the current registration and a bill of sale are used to transfer ownership. If you live in a state which titles older vehicles, your state will issue a title in your name once you register it. If you have any questions, contact your local DMV for answers, they'll be more accurate than what I can tell you. If you live in Alabama, this truck is registered as "vintage" which means the plate goes with it and never has to be renewed! I have also tried my best to update pics from today, hopefully I covered all area of concern. Finally on trades. I am moving full time into my RV and traveling, so I really just need to downsize.
