Plari 1954 Packard Patrician This beautiful 1954 Packard was purchased recently by a close family member of mine who lives out of state, but visits Florida regularly during the Fall and Winter months, and loves to frequent the car shows. It has been here in Florida since purchase, but it appears the visits are not going to be as frequent as planned. Therefore, we may give someone else an opportunity to own this great car. Beautiful colors and a rare model. One good looking Packard! This will be a great investment and a fun car for the next owner. Car looks great and drives excellent. Should win many trophies at the shows and has good HPOF potential for the AACA National Events. Beautiful Inside and Out! Recent tune-up and oil change The Straight Eight idles well, makes good power, and starts everytime. The transmission is very smooth and also works well ... The car hasn't been driven too much and needs someone to drive it! It has new brakes, the engine has been completely rebuilt (with the more reliable 327 head), and most everything works well (as a well cared for 62k original mile car should). All four power windows work, lights, gauges, etc. Radio and clock do not work. Also, the windshield washer is not hooked up. This Packard is a mostly unrestored survivor, and although the lower part (Polaris Blue) was repainted several years ago (20 years+), the top portion (Meridian Blue) is believed to be original paint. Lots of good looking chrome, nice body, under-carriage etc. No rust. The car was stored in a garage for almost 40 years ... The paint job looks very good from any respectable distance, but may have a small flaw or scratch/chip here or there due to age or driving. Most of the chrome is original and still nice as is (though does have a flaw here or there due to age, etc). The interior is mostly all original and it looks fantastic!! I had to have the top portion of the front seat carefully matched and recovered due to a rip and then both seats covered in plastic to protect them....Engine compartment and trunk compartments are nice and tidy. The original spare with the original jack (and the box it came in) are present. Overall, it's a great original '54 Packard and you'd be hard pressed to find another one like it!
