This car is an early number 1971 Datsun 240Z. I bought it in 2004 from a gentleman from Washington state. The previous owner gave me receipts and some paperwork from previous repairs, as well as the Owner's Manual for the AC and radio only. It had 37,400 miles, which I presume was 137,400. For the last nine years I've only driven it locally. It's been kept in a garage, and since I don't drive it much, I've decided to sell it. As you can see by the pictures it has a little rust. To the best of my knowledge, what you see in the pictures is all the rust that I know of. I had it repainted, and the gentleman who painted it said he didn't have to deal with much rust. The power antenna, rear window defogger and clock don't work. The AC blows but doesn't get cold. There's a small tear in the headliner, and it has had a dash overlay kit installed. The pros are that, although I'm not a mechanic, this 1971 Z starts and drives fine, though I wouldn't drive it cross-country. The interior and exterior both look good. It's perfect for someone looking for a good-looking 1971 Z who likes to tinker with cars. This car is over 40 years old and doesn't come with a warranty. It's sold as-is.
