The season is almost here! I am selling my 2004 Suzuki GS 500 F motorcycle. Condition: The bike is in very good shape. I bought it from a dealer 3 years ago and rode for approximately 700 miles. Never had any problems with it. Never dropped it. There is minor damage to the bike that was there when I bought it. A chip to plastic on the right side and some dings to the gas tank (see pictures). The bike runs great. It is a perfect starter bike. 500cc is not a lot, but definitely enough to still scare you if you open the throttle too fast. No problem keeping up on highway going 80 or 90 mph. Features: Looks like the dealer added side "bumpers" to protect the bike in case it gets dropped. I added a mod to the brake light (as a safety feature) where it blinks several times before going solid. That will make you more visible on the road. The number of times the light pulsates can be adjusted or turned off completely. (There is a small black box mounted under the seat where you can adjust this). Check out the link to the video below. History: I bought the bike from a dealer 3 years ago as my first bike. Love it, but I found that I simply do not have enough time to ride anymore. Shipping and payment: The buyer is responsible for pick up and shipment of the motorcycle. Once you are the winning bidder, I will call you so we can arrange a pick up. If you hire someone to deliver the bike to you I will not release the motorcycle before the payment has been cleared and is in my bank account. I accept PayPal, certified bank checks or cash in person (only when picking up). Caution: There is a reserve price, I retain the right to cancel the listing at any time if the bike is sold prior to end of auction or for any other reason. (I do have an add in a local paper). I will not be responsible for shipping/delivery charges, so please do not ask me to lower the price after the auction is over because you still have to pay for shipping. Good luck and be safe.
