1973 BMW 2002 tii for sale by owner. First year fuel injection, last year round tail lights combination make this a desirable collectable. This listing is for a very nice condition BMW 2002 tii. Car is currently in driving condition with a date correct OEM replacement motor that was done by a dealer after purchase due to a manufacturing defect. Papers proving these facts are in hand. Car starts first turn and engine proves to run very strong and manual transmission shifts smoothly. All features operate and this car would make a great driver or base for full restoration. Originally a red car though paint on the car is not orginal and is in fantastic shape. Car does have small marks on rear bumper and front left bumper. Interior is in ok condition; as the pictures show there is a tear in the drivers seat and waves are showing in the rear. Shock towers at all four corner are solid and without rust, as is the trunk and spare tire-well. Minor surface rust on some of the lower control arms in the rear but all parts remain solid on the car. Car is not in perfect condition as it has been driven and enjoyed throughout its life as all cars should. Would need work if you wanted to do longer road trips but around town car performs without flaw. Currently in storage for the winter in garage but available for viewing by interested viewers upon request. Car is being sold simply to make space for other automotive adventures.
