This is my unfinished project that has been sitting for several years. The car has a 1969 427 dated in spring of that year. There is no serial number on the block which makes me think that it is a replacement ordered from GM. It has currently solid lifters and ran strong. The trans is a 350 turbo with a 3500 stall and B&M Z Gate shifter. The rearend is a 12 bolt with 4.11 gears and Edelbrock No Hop traction bars. Comp Engineering 3-way shocks. Three chamber Flow Masters. The hood is an original 1971 cowl. The car is in very good condition. It will need a windshield, gas tank (small hole) and tires. There are several small chips on the paint and a small dent on the left fender. On Mar-07-13 at 09:07:49 PST, seller added the following information: I am adding pictures of the engine for those who have sent questions. The block number is 3963512 and the date looks like H ? 8. The heads are dated k 25 8 and k 27 8 and bear casting number 3933148. According to my reasearch the engine is a 427. I have seen it listed as a 454 block on a few sites. Yes, the block does have three freeze plugs.
