The car has beautiful factory finish of "Magma Red" paint and just looks stunning. This car has a perfect body that is straight as an arrow and is free of any accidents. This Benz has always been garage kept and well maintained its entire life and really shows. This car is equipped with upgraded factory AMG chrome wheels and has high performance tires. The rear tires are ultra-high performance and brand new Dunlop Direzza Star Specs. The front tires are Yokohama Advans with approx 50% life remaining. Less if you track the car. The beautiful tan leather interior is extremely clean. I recently reupholstered the two front seats (with leather, of course) as they had scuff and rub marks on the bottoms and sides. I also just replaced the windows in the soft top as they were hard and cracking. You'll have no issues with this beautiful boulevard cruiser. The car has all of its original books, complete set of tools, jack, and 2 keys. Everything works in the car lights, gauges, radio, seats, windows, locks, a/c blows ice cold, etc... NON smoker mint interior. Oh, I almost forgot, I added driver side pneumatic lumbar support to finish off the 'one thing' I felt the car was missing. Now your back will never get tired on those road-trips (or hot laps!). Mechanically, this Benz is in perfect condition and runs and drives great. It has very healthy and very strong 5.0L 8-Cyl. motor and a automatic transmission that shifts perfect. I just replaced all fluids (oil, transmission, differential) and put in new plugs and filters. This car is meticulously clean under the hood. All my cars are. I ran this car several times at Barber Motorsports last year and ran very respectable track times and have some beautiful pictures from track day. It's just too nice of a car to risk on the track so I'm selling this car to purchase a track car that is "less perfect" so I don't stress over the possibility of scratches or even worse. However, I prepped this car just as you would any car for the track so you can be sure it's SOLID, SAFE, and FAST. This car is ready to go! The car is in excellent condition inside and out. The exterior of this SL500 is stunning in Magma Red with tan leather interior and is loaded with all of the desirable factory options. This car was over $90k new and here is your chance to own it for a lot less then that. THIS CAR IS PERFECT!! I upgraded the stock stereo with an integrated Jensen unit with Navigation, USB Audio, DVD, XM Radio, and Bluetooth. It sounds awesome, is integrated with the Bose system, and works flawlessly. I am sure you'll enjoy it very much.The pictures shown are about a year old but I always liked the light in those pictures so that's what I used for listing. The car has been kept covered in my shop when not in use and the only change from a year ago is the addition of a color matched rear spoiler that looks awesome.
