This old iconic Belvedere has thankfully been somewhat preserved and maintained over its 49 year existence by its previous owners. It has a good foundation in which to launch a full restoration or can become a nostalgic drag or bracket car as it sits. It already has a 440 and has that nice mopar rumble, thanks in part to a hemi grind cam. I received the car in trade and have thrown some bucks toward a complete rebuilt front end and new brake cylinders and shoes all the way around. The car drives straight and stops easily. It has an older cheap paint job. Most of the chrome and stainless are good with the exception of the trunk lip molding, which is bent, and the lower rear glass molding is missing. Observations made while the car was on the lift are: (1) floor solid with the exceptions of two small rust holes in the right rear floorboard, and there is evidence of bondo work in both rear lower quarters; (2) it looks like the trunk pan has been replaced and the power steering box has a drip, no other leaks seen. The car could use new rubber molding around the door and trunk lid as well as new window felts. It's a cool old car that can be driven and enjoyed now. There will be a low reserve on this car.
