Offered for sale is a one-owner, California born and raised black on black 1997 Mustang GT convertible 5-speed with 38,000 ridiculously low miles in nearly flawless condition. It was purchased in 1997 with 1,293 demo miles from Capo-Ford in San Juan Capistrano California, just a short drive down the coast from Newport Beach. It has spent its entire life in Dana Point, California, 5 miles from where it was purchased. It has NEVER left California. It is owned by a retired college professor who bought the car for weekend drives. The car has genuine Ford Cobra wheels ($1,312). It has performance tires in excellent condition (see pictures). The car has been garaged every single night of its car-life. The owner is now 83 and can no longer drive. He has put less than 1000 miles on the car over the past year. He asked me (step-son) to sell the car for him, and I have first-hand knowledge of the car’s history as I was there when he brought it home from the Ford Dealer. The top operates perfectly both going down and up. The canvass top is without any scratches or tears – it looks perfect. Of course, it is water tight as well. The well-tuned 4.6L engine is very fast and the dual exhaust gives the car a nice throaty sound. It also has the upgraded audio system with a CD player. Included is a nice cover that goes over the top while in the down position. I have a complete history of the car’s maintenance since 7/26/97.
