Vehicle Detail
1971 Ford Maverick Grabber Survivor Paint wore down on passenger side and driver door seam Passenger top fender paint spots and blemishes Paint markings on all four wheels Leaf spring paint markings Passenger wheel well paint marking Assembly line "Tung-Sol" headlights still in car Cowl paint marking Mint condition door panels with no wrinkling 1971 Ford Maverick Grabber Survivor Unrestored original paint, I bought this Grabber from La Habra, California where it remained with the original owner for 37 years. It was originally purchased at Burch Ford in La Habra on February 8, 1971. It has always been garage kept. Has brand new tires, they still have knobs on them. Body No rot, no rust holes, no metal patching, no bondo, no surprises. Driver fender backed into by grandson of original owner (please see pics). Driver door has dents from when this happened. Typical rock chips ect. this Grabber is 40 years old and was driven regularly. The assembly line original "Tung-Sol" headlights are still in the car along with original dealership license plate frames. Most all paint markings are still visible. Build sheet was under the passenger seat, it will be included with the car (see pics). Also included will be an Elite Marti Report. This Grabber was special ordered with bucket seats and floor shift with deluxe interior, a rare option for a 71-72 Grabber. Interior Interior is in near mint condition with the exception of some carpet fade and passenger seat bun separation. Everything is soft and pliable as a garaged car should be. Engine 200ci straight 6 cylinder w/ auto trans. Dealership air conditioning all original untouched (not currently functioning). Runs and drives, the transmission leaks. Glass Original carlight glass in amazing condition. Windows can be operated with one finger. Paint Paint is original and still shines. Paint wore down on seams of both doors (see pics). Passenger fender has some paint drippings on top of fender (see pics). Flat black touched up prior to my ownership. 71 Grabbers are a tough find in survivor condition, its rare to find one for sale. I've been watching these cars for the past 20 years and they are only going to become harder to find. I know I am going to kick myself for selling this 71 because I know I won't find another. I'll let the pics speak for themselves. Good luck and thanks for looking! No Warranty, Selling AS-IS. Free auction templates courtesy of AuctionInsights
