1988 chevy camaro. Havent had this car that long maybe put 1000 miles on it. Runs very good, it doesnt smoke at all, no engine noise, and no leaks that I have found. I bought this car at a auction from the original seller, she told me she always garage kept it. I had to install brand new hood and hatch strut supports, installed a new fuel filter, Just put on today new spark plug wires and plugs. I removed the trans pan and changed out the trans filter and filled with new fluid. greased all the joints in the steering(they have zerks). Did a fresh oil change when i first got it, changed thermotstat and flushed cooling system. I usually when i get a another car, me and my boy do some maintenance on it as he wants to go to school and get his ase certification and it a good learning experience for him. Over all the car has alot of potential, needs a little TLC, the driver seat needs attention, the seats had a little staining in them but we did some seat cleaning it took alot out dirt out of them. The window felts need replaced sooner or later, they are cracked up, i dont know about the t-tops ive never had them off. the carpet and rest of the interior is pretty good, oh yea the door handles where you go to pull the doors closed it seems they are coming apart, it looks like a quick fix like they need taken off and tucked back in and stapled see picture. the carpet in the front and back are really good. the tires i would say are about 50% thread left, I dont know about brakes there is no grinding or anything like that. As you can see in the pictures there is starting to be some spots of surface rust ( edge of hood, chips in hood, right rear wheel well, around front windshield) All this could be easily fixed as it is just a little surface rust and hasnt become holes yet. this would be fix done right away before get any worse. As I said the car runs very good and shifts into all gears just fine. I have been driving this car to and from work about 50 miles a day havent had any problems. There isnt any rattles or annoying noises in the suspension or the exhaust, it seems to be pretty tight. The exhaust is real good it has a nice mellow rumble to it, not real loud just a nice little rumble. All the gauges work as well as the radio. This car looks to have the original motor as it looks like the previous owner really took car of it. And the original owner had a car cover that came with the car. I think it is just a cheap one but not sure.
