This bike underwent a frame-up restoration at VintageHondaCB.com in California in early 2011. For reference purposes see the Throttle Yard posting of March 31, 2011 (throttleyard.com) - this is that bike. Engine was completely gone through and bike has many new NOS Honda parts – see Throttle Yard listing. Original odometer reads less than 28,000 miles. No dents in tank, fenders or side covers, new chrome everywhere, and a complete recent tune-up by Dave at Old’s Cool Motorcycles of Wylie, Texas to include new oil and filters, battery, points, plugs, condensers, timing, cables adjusted, etc. Bike includes the original Honda toolkit and owners manual. The “F” model designates the beautiful 4-into-1 exhaust headers-muffler combination as pictured. The stock models came in one of two color combinations, and black was not one of them. All paint is new with all-original decals and emblems properly mounted. Also has an upgraded master cylinder. Comes with cover, pre-installed trickle charger hookup, two sets of keys and a new Honda-imprinted seat cover (existing one is perfect but does not say Honda on the back). Only driven less than 250 miles since complete restoration. Clear Texas title in my name, Texas safety inspection updated one week ago (requires lights, turn signals, horn, braking etc. to be fully functional). A real conversation starter at the local monthly Cars and Coffee bike and car shows. Reason for sale is personal health – otherwise would not let it go.
