Vehicle Detail
borbon26 Store Selling this one owner California car bought on June 21 1969 at Melrose Motors Inc in Oakland California.I have a ton of paper work from the original she saved every bit of bit. This is a car that you can depend on and easily drive anywhere anytime.I have the original build sheets that i found underneath the seats, first original pink slip from early 70's after the car was paid off and original Security agreement. This car was bought exactly the way it looks it is a post car and were very popular back then because the body will have less twist and are stronger bodies for racers, she told me she went in there and wanted a basic model no power brakes,no power steering, no AC, she was 23 when she bought this car and she was 66 when she sold it to me,she still is alive and lives in Walnut Creek California. The Originality of this car is insane it has never been in a major accident and has never been taken fully apart it has been painted twice the second time red and the 3rd time back to the original color T5 Bronze Fire and that was in 1991,the paint is not perfect but looks very nice with some patina. There is no rust repairs anywhere. the top is original and has a bit of expansion from little bit of rust pockets but these are only surface rust pockets that have been trapped for 44 years. The back window is solid outside and inside something that is rare in these cars because they always rusted at the very bottom since there is no drain holes. The rear trunk floor had some matting added that car manufacturers use in those areas of vehicles to keep it quiet, the floor is solid. The bottom of the car is solid and stock no rust or signs of any rust, there is 3 small spots of rust in the corner of the deck lid and a couple on the jam of the body where it shuts and meets with the deck lid easy fix.The headliner is original along with everything except the seats were re done here Borbon fabrications in Sacramento Ca by hand to look exactly they way the looked back in 1969.The motor on this car sounds and feels fresh purrs like a kitten the only thing i would do is to rebuild the 4 barrel carburetor i think it needs it.The transmission shifts perfectly and rear end feels tight. The car came with complete rebuilt front end including tie rods, ball joints, steering box,new sway bar with grommets, and new shocks all around. There is also new parts through out that are noticeable through out the car ,this lady took care of this car and i have all the receipts to prove it. I urge anyone that is interested in this car to come and look at this great american classic brought to you by Borbon Fabrications and the toy car exchange the leader in rare toy cars and real vintage cars.If you need pictures or have any questions dont hesitate to ask.I will help any buyers overseas for shipment of this car,i have sent many cars to Germany,Australia, japan etc.Borbon Fabrications916-204-9457
