A very nice well cared for car, it was picked up new at the factory and kept in the original owner's posession until 2012. It is an original black plate, rust free, California survivor that has only been maintained as needed and pampered. 74K miles showing, but most likely 174K. It runs well, but will need a carburetor rebuild as it hesitates or stalls when cold, and will only drive with full choke applied. When driving it shifts smoothly and the brakes feel great. The bodywork is honest with one older respray in the original color. There are a few dings, with the worst ones being on the tops of the front fenders. The chrome on the bumpers is also beginning to pit. (see photos) Inside, the interior looks great with recovered seats (vinyl) in the original pattern. Carpets and headliner look original and nice, but the dashboard has a few cracks and is covered with a simple carpet cover. Most accessories seem to work, with the exception of the clock and horn. Radio is a later Blaupunkt. Comes complete with virtually all service records (including delivery papers from Sindelfingen) and owners books. Drive it as is, or spend a little time and money to make it perfect. Low Reserve! This 1962 Mercedes Benz 190C was donated to a local animal shelter and is now being sold on their behalf.

A very nice well cared for car, it was picked up new at the factory and kept in the original owner's posession until 2012. It is an original black plate, rust free, California survivor that has only been maintained as needed and pampered.

74K miles showing, but most likely 174K. It runs well, but will need a carburetor rebuild as it hesitates or stalls when cold, and will only drive with full choke applied. When driving it shifts smoothly and the brakes feel great.
