Vehicle Detail
All steel body 1930 Model A. The perfect start for your Rat or Street Rod...you decide. All normal patch panels have been installed except passenger side door which is not in too bad a shape. Body has been channeled over frame and top has been chopped. Has new kingpins and front tapered radius rod ends installed. Not shown in pictures are the sides for the hood which are in good shape, new front brake calipers with lines, and a manual Vega steering box. Comes with two flathead ford engines and a manual 3 speed trans. One engine has two hairline cracks in the block, the other I have not had time to check out. Both engines are late model. The rear fenders pictured are from a sedan but could be modified to fit if you want. Everything will have to be touched by you...the body is just sitting on the frame, and the front axle and rear end are just loosely installed. This is a GREAT project. I had every intention of driving this little rod by mid summer, but, unexpected medical bills have to be paid. Please ask any questions before bidding. HINT: It will take at least $3500 to win this auction. On Feb-22-13 at 08:22:05 PST, seller added the following information: *** PLEASE READ: Since the auction is nearing it's end, I started gathering up everything that goes with the car,..including the title. Upon examining it closely, I noticed it states the year is "32". I'm guessing it is a DMV type-o or possibly a previous owner thought it was a 32 ??? Either way, I'm not sure how much of a problem this would be to fix and I do not want anyone to be surprised. I have thought about cancelling the auction and starting over, but there is still time for you to retract your bid if you want.
