What we have here is a car that was not ordered to be a grocery getter. 440/4 speed, track pack, no power brakes or steering, no air. One of 4004 with a 440/ four speed combination in 1969. Original heads, manifold, water pump mounted on warranty block (no serial numbers), original Dana 60. Day 2 car with long tube headers, Mopar electronic ignition, lightweight starter, different cam, valve train, new Cragar SS wheels with BFG radial TA’s, Sun Tach, Sunpro gauges. 80% original Y2 Sunfire paint. New brake system, new fuel system (starting with the fuel tank through to the 4150 Holley double pump carb), new electrical (alternator/ECU/voltage regulator) with MADD wiring alteration. Original vinyl seats (no cuts or rips), otherwise new interior (rug, console, door panels, handles, riser mechanisms rebuilt), radio restored. New windshield, quarter window. Front end has been completely rebuilt. Fender tag shows that this car is original. VIN number matches with radiator support. Dutchman’s panel replaced, original and solid floors. Starts well, runs cool, pulls strong and ohh that exhaust sound through the flowmaster muffler system either at idle or at speed. Has the attitude with the 255 tires on the back. (Has air shocks, but are not pumped up) What’s “wrong”: steering wheel needs refinishing to get back the wood grain (rim has no cracks or pieces missing), dash instrumentation (speedometer and fuel gauge work (as best it can with replacement sender), horn is activated by a hidden push button not the steering wheel. Many other things have been refurbished. I have kept a file on everything I have done since 2005. Original Magnum wheels with beauty ring, hub covers come with car.
