Since the unfortunate passing of Mr. Shelby, the market has recognized the strong collector value of these timeless classics. It is fully documented - with a copy of the original MSO signed by Carroll Shelby. The glove compartment door is also signed. A very important distinction of these Continuation Series cars is that they are titled as a 1965 vehicle, which puts them in far less restricted class with regards to registration, license, emissions, insurance, and foreign export. This particular Cobra equipped with the Roush 511RFE engine and 5 Speed transmission is an amazingly powerful beast. Turn the ignition key and the sidepipes bark with authority, settling down to a thumping idle that gives you a hint of the bottomless well of horsepower and torque available from the engine room. This car is not for the faint of heart. There’s more than enough power to overwhelm the 315 series tires in the first three gears.
