Vehicle Detail
For sale is my 1969 Mach I which I purchased back in 2003. I drove it daily for a little while and then decided to do a minor restoration, and the minor restoration turned into a complete overhaul. I did auto restoration for 12 years before I joined the military back in 2007 and the car has slowly become something which I have less and less time to work on. It came to a screeching halt back in 2010 when I was deployed overseas and it has been in storage since, with only an occasional check in to turn the motor. Over the last 3 years I have spent thousands on storage alone and it is no longer something I can afford to do and I don't have any other place to store/work on the car. Overall, it is very solid, with minor rust in some usual spots, but truly only cosmetic. The unibody is extremely solid and all the panels are free of anything more than minor damage. No panels need to be replaced, nor do they require any intensive bodywork to make like new. As I stated this became a total overhaul and I will attempt to list everything I have bought/installed. The engine was built by The Engine Factory in Lebanon, NJ. Its a 351 block, stroked and poked, making it a 396 c.i. stroker motor. Victor Jr. heads and intake, Edelbrock carb, Roller Rockers, Serpentine pulley system, Hooker Header Super Comp headers, Flowmaster American Thunder exhaust, and the list goes on. It's advertised as a 475 hp motor. Connected to the motor is an aluminum radiator, external oil cooler, transmission cooler, electric fans. The new transmission is a C6 automatic made by TCI Transmission along with a TCI torque converter. After the tranny is the aluminum drive shaft which is connected to a new Ford 9" Rear End with a 4:11 posi gear and 31 spline Currie axles. The suspension was rebuilt before the restoration got too intense so it's only moderately better than stock but still using stock like components. The biggest difference is it lowers the car 1". With the new 20x8.5 wheels, the car has a very aggressive stance and the wheels fit perfectly without interfering with the suspension or body. The car has been completely rewired using a Painless Wiring system. The gauges have been replaced with a set of Dakota Digital gauges which fit the OE dash but look much better. The gauge lettering/numbering is now blue in color. I also have new seat vinyl, carpet, door panels, headliner, and OE dash pad, all purchased from NPD. That is all I can think of for now, other than to say this is a complete car with no missing parts. Everything is there to complete this complete this car. It currently does not drive as the brake system is not hooked up yet and the tranny still needs a gear shifter. A lot of the car is taken apart as shown by the pictures. I took pictures tonight, but I will be taking more tomorrow, so if there are any suggestions/requests please let me know. I was also trying to make sure I got pictures of everything so I can show this is a complete car and the components I have added are in the car. In doing so, I would like to be more specific myself and say this is not a complete car because I removed the windshield since it was cracked and I planned on replacing it. Please send me a message detailing what additional photos you would like to see. eBay will only allow 5 photos per message, so please be specific as possible so that I may only have to send a few messages at a time. Thanks. On Feb-16-13 at 06:31:21 PST, seller added the following information:Per request, I have added the additional photos to Photobucket(link provided). If you have any questions, please let me know.
