1972 Corvette Convertible, matching numbers 350 with 4 speed. Purchased from an older gentleman who has kept this baby in a garage for the past 15 years. It looks like it has an older restoration, or maybe the car is all original with an older paint job. Interior is clean and nice with only one very small issue with passenger's seat. Good: Car runs and drives ok and the engine has been re-built few years ago. Tires are nice and almost new, exhaust system is new and the battery was replaced recently. All the lights seem to work and even the headlight vacuum system works fine. Car comes with a removable hard top that is in very nice condition. I did not see any rust in the frame or birdcage besides the typical surface on the bottom of the car. Engine bay is very clean. Interior is nice, overall condition is good. Also good, but needs explanation: Per previous owner the front clip was changed mid 70's or late 70's to make the car look like a late model Vette. This may not bother most people, but the ones who want to have the original 72 front can change the front clip with reasonable cost especially if you can purchase a used front clip. New aftermarket parts are available as well with reasonable price. Vette is missing the convertible top hardware but comes with removable hard top as mentioned earlier. Previous owner stated that he never took the car out in a rain so no ragtop was needed. Again, convertible top parts are readily available for these cars. Spare tire is missing but the spare tire enclosure/cover comes with the car. Mileage listed is what currently reads on the odometer, I do not know if it is actual mileage. New door lock cylinders with keys comes with the car. Paint looks ok from a distance, but to have it perfect a new paint job may be needed. I did not attempt to buff it as, like a said, from a distance it looks good enough for me. All this is reflecting the buy now price. So if you want to enjoy a solid driver as is this is a good purchase. If you want to do few things to it you know you will end up with a 30K collectable.
