I'm reluctantly selling my 1972 GMC Sierra Grande 1/2 ton long bed truck. Factory options include: 350 V8, TH 350 auto trans, 12 bolt posi rear end, tilt wheel, PS, PDB, Tinted glass and Grande trim package. This is an almost completely original truck. It sports the original paint with no body work performed over the 40 years. The paint has a great patina look for those who enjoy the originality as I do. I get a lot of looks and comments with this rig. Nothing but little surface rust anywhere on this original California truck. The bed shows surface rust from use and thats it. Sound tight body. This is a reliable driver that tracks straight and runs smoothly. It has the leaf spring rear suspension option which is one reason I bought the truck in the first place. It drives smooth with a higher load capacity and will not hop around like coil spring versions with posi. This truck is bone stock with one exception, the previous owner put an edelbrock intake on it and HEI distributor. I would rather it was all original but it does run well. The engine runs strong even with the single exhaust. The trans shifts solid. The brakes work evenly with no pull. The tires have about 3K miles. The interior is clean with newer seat upholstery. The windows all work correctly. The doors lock. The lights all work. The A/C blows cold. It has an auxilary gas tank under the bed, drivers side. Thankfully the fill neck is in the wheel well and not cut through the body. Ask questions, I'll do my best to answer in detail. Keep in mind this is a 40 year old truck. It has been well cared for and is in remarkably good shape, but it has some dings and the trim is in poor shape. You would be hard pressed to find a survivor this good.
