1962 corvette convertible barn fresh, was parked in 1978 because it was damaged in the front. Story goes a farm trailer backed into the nose of it ,no frame damage but busted up the front center fiberglass and grille and put a big hole in radiator, car ran when parked i havent tried to start it but it does turn freely. car is mostly complete missing very little. sometime in the past they were going to repair it and paint it so they stripped the paint off and thats as far as they got. car did not ever set outside so fiberglass looks like they just stripped it. appears to have all the bonding strips in place but rear wheel wells were cut a bit. i supose for bigger tires. frame is solid no rust issues to repair just sand blast it and it would look new. the complete drive train is still in car and. all glass is decent and correct date codes. trim is all there and in good condition. dash and gages are really nice tach red lines at 6500 all the interior is there seats need redone and carpet was pulled out cause it was shot. all doors open and close really nice and all windows go up and down nice as well this is a pretty unmulested car. someone cut to put 6 tail lights in it but could be fiber glassed back. all bumpers are there and nice but grille suround would need replaced and the outer front pieces. all bumper suports are there.. windshield frame is solid and all window stainless is really nice.wonderbar radio is there all gages are there console is complete and nice and clock is there . doors are complete and engine compartment is complete as well nothing missing.please dont bid if you dont have the funds in hand i dont want to have to list this 3 times. winner must pay non refunable deposit within 48 hours of auction end and the balance within 7 days of auction end.this is a project car so no you cant drive it home. also wanted to ad its a convertible top only! no hard top. top is really nice doesnt appear to have been used much, all crossbows still shine with no rust in any of the parts. header panel is solid as well.note!!!! listing says rebuilable title but car will be sold as is! no title. so car will be sold as parts or a rebuilder title would have to be obtained by winning bidder.i bought this car as a project and found out the title i was given does not go with this car. im not looking to get rich here just get my money back. its worth twice my reserve just for parts alone. any questions ask away. the lower front valance below the front bumpers was not damaged just the top center nose area i seen this part here on e-bay for sale. will need grille, radiator, and eyebro crome only.On Feb-02-13 at 08:50:49 PST, seller added the following information: There is no corect title or vin tag on this car only a vin# on the frame, we ran a check and that vin# came back, no info found! ive been told a title and vin can be gotten with the vin# off the frame or a rebuilder title can be issued or if you make a restomod you can have a title made as well.
