Only owner since being purchased from Belgium in 1984. Have all import paperwork. ALWAYS garaged. This beauty runs well but needs some attention. I have retired and will be downsizing. Please see pictures. Some positives are as follows: * Replaced braking system including hoses, calipers, discs, pads, rotors, clips etc.... * Tuned engine - plugs, points etc... * Dropped fuel tank and flushed * Detailed * Hard top in great shape (rarely used) * Good tire tread The negatives are: * Rust on rocker panels * Rust under rear bumper * Rubber on dash panel needs replacing * Left mirror needs to be reattached ( I have mirror) * Some minor wear on soft top Disclaiming Statement: This vehicle is being sold as is, where is, with no warranty, expressed, written or implied. On Feb-04-13 at 13:09:34 PST, seller added the following information: Questions from a number of viewers asked for more info regarding the condition of the 250SL. When we purchased the auto in 1984, there was 75483 kilometers on the odometer. Now there is approx. 79000 kilometers. So you see we did not drive it to often (Sundays or weekends). Since I know nothing about autos, I asked a mechanic to look at it this week. Regarding rust, he said there is some rust on the undercarriage as well as the areas previously mentioned. The trunk area looks fine. He also feels that part of the auto was repainted. If any body work was done to the auto, it was done prior to us taking possession of the auto. Mechanically, he said the auto runs and sounds very good. Again, I apologize regarding the lack of knowledge of the auto but since we have owned it , it was never in an accident or required any type of body work.I hope this helps to clarify things.Kathleen
