Vehicle Detail

Hello and welcome to my auction! I have had this bike for 6 yrs. now (me being the 2nd owner) and it has been really fun to ride when i could plus it's a tall bike. I had it out before winter to go over it and put air in the tires, change oil and filter, clean plug, grease everything and wash it plus firing it up to keep it all going. The only reason i'm selling this is i can no longer kick this over(i had a buddy start it for me before winter)due to an ongoing knee problem. The compression is such that it blows my knee after a few kicks-so yeah-compression is GOOD. Anyhow...I will give you a run down on everything that i did to it: Bike was completely stripped and powder coated(bars, frame, foot pegs)every bearing, nut and bolt was replaced with new-EVERY ONE-New grips, levers, clutch cable ,throttle tube and cable, tires, tubes, rim locks, brake pads, crush washers, rebuilt front/rear brake calipers(back will have to be done again as something is holding one of the pistons up but it still is functional, just not much grab)new tool pouch, under seat tool carrier, sprockets, chain and sliders are all new. I went 1 tooth lower on the front for more a.. in the woods. I adjusted the valves and rebuilt the carb(not re-jetted) when the motor was out as the frame was at powder. The motor and tranny were not messed with nor was the rear shock or forks as i had no reason to do so-shifts smooth in all 6 gears plus the compression was really strong. I also put in a new air filter and the air box was always completely cleaned before storage. In one of the pics you'll see the rear fender is discolored from the exhaust pipe, the guy before me must have laid it down and pushed in the pipe a 1/2 in. or so and no longer lines up with the mounting screw location on the frame(in pic),doesn't hurt anything-just a pain to flex and pull the pipe back up and out to get it mounted back on. The seat is all original as are the decals. Like all decals, they tend to start to discolor from the fuel being in the tank. The head light and tail light are both new. The plastics are all N.O.S and i also have a brand new rear fender(in pic)that goes along as well. The side panels do have a couple scuff marks from being moved around in storage. The front forks are adjustable on the end of the fork tube by the wheel. This bike has really spent it's time covered and stored inside,in the last 4 yrs. i've had it out cruisin' the back roads maybe 5-6 times(what a shame..i know) also will probably need fresh gas, carb cleaned and valves adjusted again to get ready for summer. So with all that being said, i have a Clymer book and all the old plastic also too. Please look at the pictures and if you need more info. just send me an email. As with all ads-all sales are final and sold as is to the best of my knowledge. No title..just bill of sale. To the lucky winning bidder-please contact me after auction ends. I prefer Paypal as payment or cash in hand KEEP IT SIMPLE,no personal checks or money orders. This will not be shipped unless the shipping is set up by you-all i will do is push the bike in the box-that's it..after funds have been received and in my hand. Buyers with "10 or LESS" feedback contact me before you bid-I've done this before so i know how it all goes. THANKS FOR LOOKING !!On Jan-28-13 at 14:52:17 PST, seller added the following information: One thing that i had forgotten about was the bolt that screws into the shaft that holds the kick starter on twisted off on the tear down-it won't fall off as your leg is there in front of it and it takes some effort to remove it. I was just use to it and forgot...you can see it in 1 picture of the right side if you blow it up real close. Just thought i would let this be known ahead of time.On Jan-30-13 at 14:57:46 PST, seller added the following information: Just an added note-with the weather being nice here,i took the time to drain the tank and the carb-put fresh gas in it(93 octane),new plug and fuel filter and adjusted the valves to spec. so that way it's all done and ready to go do some ridin' !
