Vehicle Detail

Please read the entire ad carefully. I have for sale a 2005 Chevy 1 ton with a flatbed dump on it. It has a gas engine. I bought this truck from the original owner in Springfield, MO. He owned a company that was located there and in St. Louis, so the truck drove back and forth often and that is why it has so many miles. He said at 350,000 miles he had a new engine put in and 10,000 miles ago he had the transmission rebuilt at a cost of $2500.00. However, I did not get any paperwork showing that. The truck runs good and straight down the road and has plenty of power. Everything works as it should; the air, the heat, and the cruise. I would not be scared to jump in this truck and drive it 1000 miles. When I bought the truck, the windshield had a few cracks in it so I had a new windshield put in and after they did that, part of the cloth on the headliner was hanging down so that probably needs to be fixed. It has a hole in the seat where the driver would slide in and out and it could stand to go to the cleanup shop and have the inside of the truck cleaned out. It's pretty dirty and stained. It does have a Chevy Vortec 6.0L engine with an Allison automatic transmission. I would guess the front and back tires all have 40-60% tread. It does have some minor scratches and dents on the outside, but it's still pretty nice looking. I don't think I've seen any rust spots anywhere. This would make a great truck for a farmer or landscaper. I personally have put over 500 miles on this truck and it runs great. It does have a hitch in the back to pull a trailer. When I bought this truck, it had a steel flatbed on it that was around 8 feet wide and 11 feet long. I took a sub-frame off of a state truck with the dump assembly to make this bed dump. I would guess the cylinder to easily be rated to lift 4-5 tons. I bought an electric over hydraulic motor and put on it to make it operate, and I took two tons of scrap metal to the scrapyard last week and dumped with no problem. The dump bed works good. It's power up and power down, but it works slow. I'm not sure, but I think the brand of the flatbed is an Omaha. It has steel sides that are 12 or 14 inches tall that slide in the pockets and one that goes in the back of the bed. They can all be removed. If you have any questions or would like to come see the truck, feel free to email me. This truck is being sold as is/where is with no warranties expressed or implied. I reserve the right to end this listing early, as I also have this truck for sale locally. Once paid in full, I can deliver this truck up to 200 miles for $1.50 per mile, one way.
