Vehicle Detail
1969 Plymouth GTX, 440 4spd, Track-pack, completely numbers matching car----Built original 440, bored .30 over, 284/.484 cam, heads and valves reworked, dual quad intake and carbs, Hurst 4 spd, Dana 3:54:1 trac pac. Fender tag reads as follows---A33 B11 V1X V6W 26 END A01 A33 C21 C55 L31 M21 R6 R6 PGS A4 702 265142 E80 021 RS23 L9G 303090-----Block casting 9G303090---Trans casting 95664, ID tag 090----Complete driveline has been rebuilt, new shocks, bushings, lines, snubbers, exhaust, etc, over 10K in reciepts under the hood already, runs great and drives out straight. New Year One correct seat covers front and rear installed, and new carpet not installed comes with, and an uncut dash panel (has guages there now) otherwise interior is good driver quality, but not restored. Underhood/engine bay clean an rust free, was painted when motor was out. I do have pictures of the before and after, motor, rear end rebuild, etc----Body has never been touched. Original (or very close to it) paint has chips and scratches, plenty of dings and vinyl top looks good but some bubbling under showing. NO BODYWORK...has a fist size hole in front and behind both back wheels, easily patched (they have black tape covering, just to temp patch) but no rust in the fender wells or trunk floor, underside/floorboards all original and solid, never been painted over or undercoated to hide anything....very hard to understand how solid this unrestored Mopar really is, all original sheetmetal!! No power steering or brakes, fender mount signal indicators, factory Scorch Red w/black lower, black vinyl top, and pewter int...not sure to exactly how rare, but it has to be an odd duck. The car is absoulutly brutal to drive, lay you in the seat like nothing I've ever experienced...needs nothing mechanically..even the radiator was recored, to keep it original, and I do have the factory intake, carb, and air cleaner too---All repair reciepts also---What it needs is paint/bodywork, plain and simple, probobly not even quarter panels, these are patchable, and all the mechanicals have been rebuilt to factory specs already...a body resto is the only thing left...or be the coolest guy at cruise night and leave it original...like something out of a 70's movie. Factory 1-15 speedo reads around 56k, which I believe is original, and has the dash tach, but is not hooked up due to an electronic ignition upgrade. This is a "dirty driver" that will WAX anything (or most) on the road, not a barn find or pieced together pile like alot out there...the real deal, big money, all in GTX...CLEAR TITLE.....Take a look, ask me any questions, only allows me to load 24 pics, just ask if you need a specific shot-------- THANKS
