PLEASE DO NOT FORGET TO READ THIS AD FULLY!!!!!!! This is for a 1971 VW Karmann Ghia Coupe.This is good project VW.It is better than it first appears,so please look at all photos. It is pretty solid and astonishingly has not ever been hit in the front before like most all ghias were.The body is pretty straight.The rockers are pretty good with very little rust,even the round torsion tube covers are still visable and the jack points are good.The heater channels look very good.The front floor pans,mainly passenger side, have some rust and rear floor pans have been replaced ,at one time,with steel plate which is still good and very solid.The doors are very solid.The drivers door lower hinge is broken,I have it, but it needs replacement.It is NOT rusted,just broken and taken off.The body does have some rust but nothing bad at all.All the glass is good.It looks like someone was redoing it one time and did a custom style interior.The dash pad is soft and crack free. The headlinner is very good as are the sunvisors.The front and rear window seals look fairly new and The front window looks fairly new too.The photos speak for themselfs on this car.The tires are descent and all match and the car rolls and steers fine.The body is pretty good and straight for a old VW Ghia.It has and adjustable front beam.There is a T handle shifter and most all the trim for the car including almost all of the rare side trim,there are a few bent pieces but none are kinked,they should be savable.There are alot of screws and bolts and misc items under the hood.There is no motor in the car, but 2 engines come with it.One is a 1500 and the other is a 1600,both are buildable cores.The 1500 is all complete, but both are seized from sitting. This is a very buildable car ,and is a bargain for the price. THIS IS A PROJECT CAR.
